California Tip Toppers Tall Club is the first organized tall association on record, founded in Los Angeles by Kae (Sumner) Einfeldt on May 1, 1938. California Tip Toppers is composed of men and women with exceptional height sharing a belief that such an organization will provide opportunities for cultivation of friendships and social contacts not found elsewhere, as well as providing a means whereby they may capitalize on their mutual attributes. California Tip Toppers Tall Club hosted the worlds first convention for tall people in 1947 when fifteen clubs formed the American Affiliation of Tall Clubs (now Tall Clubs International) of which California Tip Toppers Tall club is a charter member.
